Satin Stain
Transparent Satin Stain - strengthens and protects walls, providing improved resistance of the coating to daily wear and tear. It is recommended for use as a protective coating for Polaris paint* and Silver Sand paint**.
*Note: When applied on top of Polaris paint a layer of stain may slightly change the color of the walls. For information on how the stain affects a specific shade of Polaris, please contact our customer service.
**Note: For Silver Sand paint, only in areas exposed to heavy wear and tear; for surfaces exposed to normal daily use, a protective coating is not necessary.
Application
The substrate should be stable, dry, clean and degreased. Protect unpainted surfaces with foil. Mix product before use. Apply in thin layer using paint roller avoiding the formation of streaks. Leave the surface to dry for at least 12 hours (drying time may be extended due to environmental conditions e.g. high humidity). It is recommended to use protective clothes as the stain is difficult to remove. Once the job is finished, ventilate the room until the odor has completely gone.
